Closing date for entries is one week before the competition. No refunds will be given once times are published.

Competitor numbers – please remember to bring your Competitor numbers

Everyone mounted must wear protective headgear conforming to the current British standards and chin straps must be done up at all times.

The Judges decision is final.

Under no circumstances should horses/ponies be left tied unattended outside their trailers/lorries

Dogs must be on leads and under control at all times.

There may be a photographer present. Please let us know if you do not wish to be photographed.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I acknowledge that riding, and handling horses are high-risk activities that may result in serious injury or death.

I accept that horses are unpredictable and I use these facilities entirely at my own risk

2. Limitation of Liability
-
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Owner/Proprietor, Beirc accepts no liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, or illness to riders, horses, spectators, or property (including vehicles) while on the premises.

4. Mandatory Safety & Rules
-
Headgear: A riding hat meeting current BSI/PAS 015 standards must be worn and fastened at all times when mounted.

Supervision: Riders under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

5. Insurance & Health
-
Insurance: The hirer must hold valid Third Party Public Liability Insurance.

Vaccinations: All horses must be up to date with Equine Influenza vaccination

6. Arena Etiquette
-
Poo Picking: The arena and parking area must be cleared of all droppings before departure. There are poop scoops provided, please empty these into the muck heap opposite the arena entrance

CCTV Monitoring & Data Protection

Operation: CCTV is in operation at Barstobrick at all times for the purposes of security, public safety, rule enforcement, and accident investigation.

Consent: By entering the premises and using the facilities, the Hirer and all associated attendees (including spectators and trainers) acknowledge and consent to being recorded.

Data Handling: Footage is recorded and stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR. Images may be made available to insurers, legal professionals, or the police in the event of an accident or incident.

Retention: Recordings are typically retained for a period before being overwritten, unless required for ongoing investigations.

Access Requests: Individuals have the right to request access to their own personal data (Subject Access Request) by contacting the Data Controller (Sarah Burton) at Beirc. Please email enquiries@beirc.co.uk
