Guidelines for attendance at Showing Competitions

• Everyone mounted, whether competing or not, must wear protective headgear conforming to the current British standards and chin straps must be done up at all times.​

• Under no circumstances should horses/ponies be left tied unattended outside their trailers/lorries​

• The Judges decision is final.​

• Closing date for entries is shown on the entry form – entries can be made on the day at £15 per class (Cash only) between 08:30 - 09:00 and 12:00-12:45. Unfortunately, once entered no refunds can be given.  Please follow our Facebook and Instagram page for updates.  ​

• Competitor numbers – Numbers will be provided on the day.   Your number can be collected from the Secretary on arrival.  ​

• Insufficient Entries – The Committee reserve the right to amalgamate or split classes if necessary.

• Vaccinations –All animals must have up to date vaccinations (within 12 months to date of show).

• The Dumfries and Galloway Horse Show or any members of its committee will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury to exhibitors, grooms, spectators or their property whatsoever.

• Please remember to remove muck from the carpark.
