Terms of Membership

  • When you become a member, you will be given a user name and membership number. This is for your own use only - do not share your membership details with any other person.
  • Responsibility for the security of your membership number rests with you. If you suspect that someone else knows your membership number, contact us immediately.
  • Membership entitles you to use both the main Indoor Arena 1, Indoor Arena 2 and outdoor arena, subject to availability.
  • Please remember when taking part in arranged lessons, this does count towards your allotted time when using the arena even if you have not made the booking.
  • The Committee of BEIRC accept no liability for any injury or damage to persons or property caused whilst using the facilities including the access and the car park.
  • ANY PERSON when mounted, must wear a hat to the current Riding Club/Pony Club standards.
  • Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times when using the facilities.
  • Following the use of the. facilities members MUST tidy up after themselves - this includes tidying away horse droppings, emptying skips and putting away jumps/any equipment that have been used, in the correct area.
  • A completed and signed indemnity must be in place before using the showjumping equipment.
  • Members can book the use of the School on the online booking facility on this website.
  • Individuals cannot book further than two weeks in advance.
  • Groups/Clubs and members looking to book the facilities for events or a collection of lessons with instructors can book further than the two weeks, but they must confirm the booking by email to info@barstobrick.co.uk and beirc1@gmail.com
  • If a member books a slot to use the facility and then cannot make it they will cancel their booking either via this website and removing the booking or by emailing beirc1@gmail.com
  • If an individual member makes a  provisional booking, then this must be confirmed at least 3 days prior to the event or else the booking will automatically be deleted to allow another member to use the arena(s)
  • Club or group provisional bookings will be deleted 7 days prior to the event, if not confirmed.
  • Members must report any damage to property or equipment immediately to Robin Austin.
  • Membership car stickers will be provided.
  • If any member is found to be breaching/abusing these terms of membership the Club has the right to suspend or cancel their membership. Every attempt will be made to avoid this situation but we have to make sure all members are getting the benefit of the facilities and we cannot afford to have some members spoiling it for others.
